Travelogue - Food and Restaurant

Dine together in Sabah (while acting edition)

Greetings reader. Today, I have quite the special restaurant/café that some of you chocolate fans would especially find very attractive or even a straight out must go that I'll be sharing with you guys today. This special place is located in Tawau, Sabah and it's none other than Teck Guan Cocoa Village & Tawau Cocoa Café!

Here is a photo I took from the interior facing out with Infinix Note 30

Also, let me in you guys on a little story. During my first time coming to this Teck Guan Cocoa Village & Tawau Cocoa Café, I was with a small group people. We were on a task to film a short story video relating to customer service, which was our assignment at the time. Initially, we only planned to record and then go home, but we genuinely got distracted by the beauty and charm of it. Long story short, we ended up exploring around and share a small meal together.

Here is a photo of me standing in-between their signature "I ❤️ Tawau"

As for the food, it's actually is pretty good. We didn't order much, just the "Banana Coco" which cost around RM12/Serving. It's basically bananas that are cut to slices before served with toping together with a chocolate dipping. It's surprisingly sweet and delicious, which make a must try for you sweet lovers out there!

A scene from our short video featuring the "Banana Coco" and one of our team member acting as a customer

(DISCLAIMER - I'll now be showing images that is not mine/ours)

The official flyer that can be found online (Note: I'll credit at the end)

The photo of someone enjoying their ZipLine (Note: I'll credit at the end)

The photo of the entrance to the Cocoa Culture Spring (Note: I'll credit at the end)

The photo of the spring and it's small waterfall (Note: I'll credit at the end)

Short video

And finally, I'll include the location here so you guys can easily find this modest but charming place as well. Have fun sharing memories and delicious course together!

Introduction: LFS Coliseum

LFS Coliseum, formerly known as the Coliseum Theatre, is a historic cinema located at 96 Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 1920 by the Chua family, it is one of the oldest continuously operating cinemas in the country. The cinema features Art Deco architecture and originally seated 900 patrons.

In 2012, Lotus Five Star Cinemas (LFS) acquired and refurbished the venue, transforming it into a two-screen cineplex with a total seating capacity of 474. The renovation preserved the cinema's historical charm while introducing modern amenities, including a 7.1 sound system and comfortable seating. LFS Coliseum predominantly screens Indian films, including Bollywood, Tamil, and Telugu productions, attracting a diverse audience.

Despite its modernization, LFS Coliseum has faced challenges, such as the threat of closure in 2006 due to proposed redevelopment plans. However, public outcry and appeals from the Chua family led to its preservation as a cultural landmark. The cinema was officially reopened under LFS management in November 2012, continuing its legacy as a cherished entertainment venue in Kuala Lumpur.

Ticket price range from RM12 to RM 60.
